Science Centre , Kota

Science Centre Kota has been set up by Department of Science & Technology in 1994. Science Centre Kota include seven districts - Kota, Bundi, Baran, Jhalawar, Tonk, Karauli & Sawaimadhopur. It is situated near Aerodrom Circle, DCM Road, Near RTO Office, Chatra Vilas Palace, Kota. Science Centre has various science models of Physics, Mechanical, Civil, Biology and other branches of sciences. Apart from that a Mini Planetarium is also at centre which shows position of stars and their movements.

Science Centre runs many schems of Department such as :

Under Science Communication & Popularisation scheme centre organise various activities like National Science Day, Science Clubs, Model Rocketary workshop, Miracle explaining workshop, NCSC-MTAID, Science Drama, Technical Tour, Vedic Maths etc.

Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp, Intellectual Property Rights workshop and Geographical Indication Program.

Various models and displays are presented here on basic science.

Timings: 9:30 am to 6:00 pm, closed on Government Holidays.
