Science Centre, Udaipur

Science Centre Udaipur has been set up by Department of Science & Technology under Regional Office Udaipur in 1991. Regional Office Udaipur covers seven districts of southern Rajasthan - Udaipur, Rajsamand, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Dungarpur, Banswara and Pratapgarh. It is situated at Chitrakut Nagar, Bhuwana, Udaipur. With the financial support of Rs. 50.00 lakh by TAD Udaipur for development of Science Centre in year 2013 various outdoor & indoor models established in science gallery at Science Centre. Indoor gallery has Optical Illusion models, Mirror Magic models and IT models. Outdoor gallery has various models of basic science.

Timings: 9:30 am to 6:00 pm, closed on Government Holidays. Being upgraded as Science Park.

No entry fee at present.

As per the sanctions issued by Head Office various activities organised such as:

Under Science Communication & Popularisation Divison - Children Science Congress, Model & Teaching Aid Competition, Science Play Competition, Technical Tour, Electronic Workshop, Computer Awareness, Maintenance of domestic appliances, Science exhibition, National Science Day, Science Clubs, Miracle explaining etc.

Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp, Intellectual Property Rights workshop and Geographical Indication Program.
